We’re super excited to announce a valuable upgrade to the Model Mayhem Travel & Availability Notice section. If you are looking for work or you want to know about other MM members available to work in your market, you should pay attention to this!

Travel & Availability Notice Alerts

Previously, only VIP members were allowed to sign up for Travel & Availability Notice Alerts. These are private messages (PMs) and emails that alert you when another MM member is coming into your area and is available to work. We’ve now opened this up to ALL members. Basic members can set up to 2 alerts, Premium members can set up to 5 alerts and VIP members can set up unlimited alerts.

To set up an alert, do a search for a Travel & Availability Notice using the criteria you’d like to be alerted on. At the top of the search result page will be a link “Add to Travel/Availability Notice Alert.” Click that, give it a name and save it.  It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! From that point on, if someone posts a Travel Notice that fits your criteria you’ll be notified based on your tier. If you are a VIP member you’ll get notifications for all postings. If you’re not a VIP member you’ll only be notified when a VIP member posts a Notice.

Travel & Availability Notice Broadcasts

If you are traveling or you’re available to do some work and want people in a specific area to know about it, then you can set up a Travel/Availability Notice. When you do, your notice will appear in the Model Mayhem Notice platform when people conduct searches. More importantly, depending on your membership tier members who have opted into alerts will receive notifications as to your availability.

If you are a VIP member, then all those members who have signed up for Alerts, regardless of their tier, will be notified. If you are not a VIP member, then only VIP members that have Alerts set will be notified.

Because landing jobs and networking are the two most important aspects of Model Mayhem, we’re excited to bring you a new set of tools that will help your career.
